The resonant frequencies are created due to fringing effects of metamaterials that making the resonant ability of the excited ring can spread to the two surrounding areas. By adjusting the distance between the excited ring and two areas, fringing effects will be altered lead to the changing of resonant frequency. The proposed model is designed based on theoretical calculations and optimized by simulated results. Experimental results proved the feasibility of the proposed structure
