Research Building Interpolation Algorithm Based on FPGA

Interpolation algorithm is very important in the Computerrized Numerical Control (CNC), that assess the quality and quantity processed product of machine tools. Many researches hardware interpolation and software interpolation has been deployed for machine tools. In this paper, the authors research building linear and circular interpolation algorithm based on FPGAs using Hardware Description Language (HDL). The simulation results showed feasibility of building interpolation with parallel structures and synchronized axes based on SoCs (System on Chip). Results from this study, the CNC have high - speed, exactly - trajectory motion will be launched to meet demand for technological development of the country.
