Abstract

In theoretical researchs of the electrical drive system, it is one - mass system, the stiffness coefficient and damping coefficient of the shaft is neglected. However, electrical drive systems with flexible coupling, in the case, the system is regarded as two - mass system. The induction motor steady-state operation and upper field weakening area, the coefficient negative influences of flexible coupling cause a decrease in the quality of the electrical drive system. The paper presents the results of flatness based control design for two-mass systems using induction motor drive fed by voltage source inverter with ideally control performance of stator current. The results of the research, which introduced a new design direction, reduced the calculation for the speed control and the flux control of the two-mass system, furthermore electrical drive’s response ensuring the "fast, accurate and decoupling”.
